CYCLE PATH

Casentino is the first valley the Arno River encounters as it descends from Monte Falterona.
Cycling along the bike path that runs alongside the river, immersed in lush greenery, is a pleasant experience suitable for everyone.

The route can be easily tackled in both directions with e-bikes, mountain bikes, and gravel bikes. E-bike rentals are available in both Pratovecchio and Bibbiena.

Starting from Pratovecchio, you can immediately admire the evocative Romena Castle, before discovering some of the most beautiful villages in Casentino: Borgo alla Collina, Poppi with its famous castle and one of the most charming historic centers in Italy, and finally Bibbiena, the valley’s capital.

In each town, there are variants of the bike path that allow you to easily reach the villages and visit them at a leisurely pace, where life still flows slowly… just like the pace of a bike ride.

The route, almost completely flat, makes it perfect for everyone: from the youngest to the elderly.
